DELTA RAMP EMPLOYEES


Eight years ago we were engaged in a union campaign with Delta Airlines. Our company appealed to our sense of loyalty and asked us not to allow a “third party” to come between us. They assured us that if we voted down the union all would be made right and we would be taken care of. Dept. 120 responded overwhelmingly to the Company’s pleas and voted down the union. Since that time, this is how Delta has chosen to reward us:

PAY CUTS-20%+
PENSION-FROZEN, UNDERFUNDED
MEDICAL PREMIUMS-ZOOMING SKYWARD
401K ESOP-WIPED OUT
SICK TIME-GUTTED, MINIMAL
VACATION-TRIMMED
HOLIDAY PAY-SLASHED
OVERTIME PAY-REDUCED
PAID HOLIDAYS-LOST
OJI POLICY-PUNITIVE, CONFUSING
RETIREE BENEFITS-COMPROMISED

Fortunately IAM has decided to take on a union campaign for us with Delta. This is our chance to regain some of the dignity we lost during that last campaign. Make no mistake, we love working at Delta Airlines & we love the company. What we don’t particularly care for is how the company is being managed. By organizing, we will gain a more permanent place at the table and a more secure future. Please fill out a union card today.
