Now that Delta has exited bankruptcy and we’ve seen our new pay, benefit package and stock awards, and compared them to the rest of the union airlines that went through bankruptcy, our coworkers are realizing there is a clear advantage to being union. We know the industry is poised to move forward and we know the other airline ramp workers are better positioned to enjoy the benefits of union protection. They all have contracts that guarantee them pay raises, sharing in profits, and job growth. All we have is a promise and a fist full of air.

Over the next few weeks, Atlanta will come alive in this campaign. We are the biggest station and we want to lead. We want to lead not only in this campaign, but we want to lead with the best ramp airline contract in the industry! We deserve no less!

Delta ramp employees are the best and we deserve the best. We are committed to this campaign, we are committed to getting to an election, and we are committed to getting a union. We know the sooner we get there, the sooner we can improve pay, lock in better benefits, get some dignity and fairness, and guarantee it all in a contract.
