TWO POETS ADD THEIR PROSE

Remember when the airlines didn't face so many losses..?
When the work was honest, and so were the bosses..?

Our C.E.O. likes his money; he's got it lined in his pockets...
While bags keep getting heavier, pulls your arms out of the sockets...

Atlanta has new faces; everyone's a special pick...
Chosen from Northwest, thanks to the one we call tricky Dick...

With the pending merger, Washington is beaming, a visit he must have paid...
To stop our quest for fairness, but our dreams will never fade...

No one knows what's up his sleeve next, his secrets he will not share...
If only for a chance my foot would meet his lily white fat derriere...

A call to arms brothers near and far,
to lend a hand,
to raise the bar,
to speak the truths we hold so dear,
to sew the seeds for a prosperous year,
so heed the call and raise your voice,
and show yourselves you have a choice
