OPEN EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND THOUGHTS? CLOSED!
DELTA PULLS PLUG ON INFOXCHANGE
Last week, when the regulars of infoXchange woke up to greet each other with new topics of discussion, they were stunned and disappointed to find that their precious source of open and free exchange of dialogue and commentary had been shut down by Delta Management.
While a good portion of the threads were supportive and reflective of Company policy and thought, seems the potential “ threat” from the growing voices that brought up controversial subjects such as unions or securing better benefits was more than Delta could bear.
We should all ask ourselves why Delta would be so worried about free speech. Hmmmm…
Could it be that they know the power of employees talking about concerns, treatment and comparative pay and benefits from other airlines and companies? Are they seeing the potential of our dream to improve our pay and benefits becoming reality? Do they think if we just stop talking about it we’ll forget we can improve our lives and work with dignity?
Why is Delta management absolutely opposed to our becoming union and having our own voice? It’s something to think about. The answer is obvious…they can’t stand us having our share and having it Guaranteed!
It also seems that Delta management’s position is so weak and tenuous; they can no longer stand up to open scrutiny. They must control the flow of all information, or else we may think for ourselves.
On this site we welcome all opinions. Open, honest discussion is always welcome. We believe it is healthy to share ideas, and thought.
