A-CARD SIGNINGS EXCEED EXPECTATIONS!

While many cities throughout the Delta Ramp Family have had great success in getting sufficient a-card returns helping secure a union vote, ATL still has some work to do. We encourage working brothers and sisters in ATL to use the next few weeks in talking to your fellow workers about the importance of signing a union authorization card.

We recognize the difficult, unique circumstances you face in having such a vast facility with so many dispersed areas of contact, but we know you have the capabilities to overcome the situation and prevail.

We also realize how repressive your local management team is and how many obstacles and lies they have road-blocked you with. They are desperate and know that our victory is a very real probability.

Congratulations on what you have accomplished thus far and know that we are with you every step of the way. We recognize that some cities have high turn over rates which further complicate the process and are working to overcome this situation.

Everyone is aware of what the past few years have wrought upon us; vastly reduced pay, virtually no sick time, medical insurance that only covers the bare minimum. Frozen or no defined benefit pensions whatsoever. We have the opportunity to regain all of that and, almost as importantly, our dignity.

Together through bargaining collectively, we can become again the proud working men and women that we remember in our happier, more prosperous days. It only takes dedication, a little work and resolve. We deserve it and need only reach out and take it.
